Even though it was pretty certain the Lakers wouldn’t be winning the NBA Championship this year, I don’t think anyone expected them to go down the way they did. They lost bad. They played like a team that didn’t even deserve to be in the playoffs, much less the finals. I’m not sure exactly what happened to them in the last round. Maybe it was just luck that they made it that far. I don’t think so, though. I think they put so much effort into the rest of the playoffs they were just drained by the end. I hope they make the neccessary improvements and come back better next year and hopefully pull off the big win that Los Angeles sports really needs.
Congratulations to the Celtics. They played well.
Now my sports focus goes completely to the Dodgers who have surprisingly won 2 in a row. Hey, they still have time.
I feel bad for Willie Randolph. I liked him as a manager. I don’t think he was given a fair enough shot.
